Our High School Coordinator publishes a journal named 9/12 which includes literary, cultural and art related writings both by well-known writers and by successful students who earned the first place in the fanzine contests of their schools.
With this journal, our students learn the power of fanzine in writing and publishing, and their interest in writing and reading is promoted. While preparing their pieces, these students develop their writing and critical thinking skills, and they are given the opportunity to voice their ideas. We encourage our students, nation-wide, to publish at least one fanzine yearly and reward the successful ones yearly. The most successful fanzines are published and distributed around the country.
